Warranty
All of our upholstered furniture is subject to a meticulous final inspection. That›s why we are able to grant a 5-year warranty on all new furniture. This warranty extends to the frame, the base upholstery, the springs, the arm rests, the padding material and the non-moving parts. Normal usage in a residential environment and proper maintenance in accordance with our product care instructions (see the care and sales information enclosed with delivery) are pre-requisites for the application of the manufacturer’s warranty.
The warranty period for functional parts such as metal fittings, electrical and electronic parts (such as electric motors, controls, operating devices, etc.) lasts for 2 years from the date of delivery.
The warranty period is not extended in the event of these parts being exchange over the course of the warranty period or as a gesture of goodwill. The warranty for the parts installed in replacement expires with the expiry of the original warranty period of these parts. Batteries and gas springs are subject to wear and are excluded from the warranty.
For our leather collection, we grant a warranty period of 3 years. Proper maintenance / clean must be carried out on these items too (see care set instructions).
In terms of all other cover materials, our liability is limited to the statutory warranty.
The manufacturer’s warranty begins upon delivery to the specialist retailer.
The warranty services exclusively involve professional rectification of defects with no obligation for the reimbursement of any additional costs.
The warranty claim expires in the case of unauthorised attempts to repair items of furniture.
The furniture must be available for the warranty claim to be assessed and for the defects to be rectified.
The statutory warranty applies in the case of usage in a commercial environment.
